Head of FP&A Europe (m/f/d)

Our European Headquarter in Gersthofen is looking for a Head of FP&A Europe (m/f/d).
What your job includes
- Establish a state-of-the-art regional financial planning & analysis function, define and lead the implementation of efficient & effective FP&A processes & systems – in line with global FP&A directives
- Establish an effective regional business partnering environment – in close cooperation with the divisional financial directors and the CFO Europe
- Design and lead planning processes such as midterm planning, budgeting & forecasting
- Set up processes to define and measure function costs, budget process and reporting for functions against budget and growth & profitability targets
- Design and lead business reporting and management review processes such as monthly reporting, quarterly reporting & ad hoc reporting
- Define and manage a centralized capital process for the region
- Analyze actual results and forecasts to understand business trends, perform segment financial analysis on key business metrics and financial drivers, and function in a leadership capacity over a regional team
- Initiate and lead process improvements with the FP&A and Finance team
- Manage, coach and direct a team of finance specialists to meet their performance objectives and growth opportunities
What we expect from you
- Master’s Degree or equivalent education in Business Administration with a Finance & Controlling focus or a directly related field
- Major experience in Finance, Controlling, Business Planning & Analysis within a competitive global manufacturing environment – preferably in the food industry
- Experience in multinational teams and international matrix organisations
- Profound team management experience
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of the foods business or strong willingness to comprehend the industry
- Strong business acumen, able to solve complex problems
- Able to withstand pressure and implement initiatives with senior management
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills: Financial Statement Analysis, Variance Analysis, Accounting and Control, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Analysis
- Project management experience including developing project plans, making recommendations and coordinating change-orientated projects
- Excellent Presentation and communication skills to Management Team within a global business environment
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Willingness to travel <20%
