Our European Sales Team is looking for a Key Account Manager - Retail (m/f/d).
Your responsibilities
- Implementation of the sales and distribution strategy with responsibility for results through support and acquisition of (key) accounts, establishment and further development of sustainable customer relationships
- Independent management of national and international key accounts, development of customer-specific strategies for the implementation of successful annual agreements and price negotiations
- Strategic and operational budget and sales planning, regular reporting based on relevant KPIs such as sales, turnover, contribution margin and initiating measures in the event of deviations
- Continuous market and competition monitoring to develop new sales and sales potential
- Close cooperation with all interfaces within the company and in the sales team
What we expect from you
- Successfully completed business studies with a focus on sales / food production or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in food retail sales
- Several years of experience in sales of private label FMCG, preferably fresh food such as meat in international retail
- Good knowledge of German and ideally European food retail structures
- Strong understanding of processes and products
- Convincing, engaging personality with a good demeanor, ambition and negotiating skills
- Solid experience in project management as a creative and flexible team player
- Very good knowledge of German and English and willingness to travel within Europe
