Our plant Henri van de Bilt in Beuningen is looking for a Shift Leader (m/f/d).
Your tasks and responsibilities
Organizing the Production Process:
- Prepare the production process and, in consultation with your supervisor, create a schedule for personnel and materials.
- Distribute responsibilities among team members, considering available resources and current developments.
- Initiate production and oversee the progress of tasks, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
- Make adjustments as necessary and ensure that goals are achieved on time and according to standards.
- Analyze measurements and results to optimize both the product and the process.
- Trace deviations back to technical causes, product influences, and environmental factors.
- Work closely with other departments to evaluate processes and make adjustments based on data.
- Make improvement suggestions for production problems and take measures to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
- Advise management on emergencies and other production issues.
- Discuss proposed improvements with the production team and ensure that new procedures are followed.
- Implement new procedures and monitor compliance.
- Instruct and inform employees about work tasks and associated standards.
- Mentor and motivate team members, including onboarding new or temporary staff.
What we expect from you
- MBO 4 working and thinking level (preferably in a technical field). HBO working and thinking level is an advantage.
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a supervisory role within a production environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP and other relevant quality and safety standards.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate teams.
- Excellent communication skills for coaching and instruction.
- Analytical ability to improve production processes.
- Problem-solving, decisive and stress-resistant in a dynamic environment.
- Creativity and initiative to optimise processes.
- Willingness to work 2 shifts (14% shift allowance).
- Good command of the English language; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
- Requirement: valid work permit for the Netherlands.
