About Us

The OSI Food Solutions plant in the northern part of Ukraine is situated 200 km from Kyiv, the capital, and stands for excellent processing quality and modern processes. Koziatyn Meat Plant (KMP) sources its livestock from farmers in Ukraine and is very proud of its close ties and reliable cooperation with them. The KMP produces and supplies the raw material to OSI Food Solutions Ukraine plant, that located at the same territory with KMP, and uses raw material for the patties production.

Here we process raw materials with the utmost care and in compliance with strict hygiene standards. Our plant is specialized in the production/processing of slaughter and processing of cattle, production, storage and sales of beef half carcasses and quarters, single-sorted chilled beef, single-sorted chilled pork, offal, frozen meat and offal in blocks, semi-finished meat products: natural, minced, packed in vacuum or in modified atmosphere, canned meats, sausage products.

Sustainability

Since 2019 the Sustainability team in KMP has had three main focuses: Animal Welfare, Environmental and Social. In each of these directions the team is pursuing numerous projects across our priority areas and in conformity with global sustainability targets.

We upgraded our animal welfare by appointing a dedicated officer to manage the program and its continuous improvement. KMP is the first and the only one meat processing plant in Ukraine that fully comply with the Animal Welfare European requirements. The successful implementation of animal welfare principles and correct antibiotics usage is fulfilled through regular training and meetings with the suppliers, traders and livestock drivers.

Our Environmental team continuously monitor the Ukraine’s environmental consumables and run projects in accordance with our water, energy and GHG reduction strategies, and increasing of the renewable sources of energy on site.

The interaction with the local community is fulfilled via donating foods, sponsoring charities, planting trees. We also focus our attention on constant cooperation with state, municipal and public organizations, holding meetings with educational establishments and organization of mass events aimed at supporting the social and environmental well-being of the community.
