At our European production sites, we focus on consistently high meat quality for our beef products, which we ensure through high standards that go far beyond the legal requirements. In doing so, we ensure full traceability from farmer to final product.

HIGH QUALITY CATTLE HIDES

Cattle hide is one of the by-products that result from the slaughter process. It constitutes a key component of the corresponding value chain, which is why we treat it with care and sort it in a systematic manner for our customers. As part of the OSI Group, A+B Hides GmbH & Co. KG offers an extensive portfolio of high-quality cattle hides for customers in Europe and Asia.

Based on innovative laser technology it is possible to ensure traceability from an animal’s earmark number all the way to the final product, which in turn provides for the utmost transparency in leather production.

ANIMAL BY-PRODUCTS

OSI stands for responsible use of resources. This also includes utilizing all the parts of the animals’ by-products such as bones, animal fat, and certain organs which are sold to our domestic and international customers. Raw animal materials like these are subject to stringent inspections and see use in the food, the animal feed as well as the pharmaceutical industries.
