Working at OSI in Europe

OSI regularly offers the opportunity for an internship or a working student job. It is important to know if it is a mandatory internship of the university and in which period it should take place. For bachelor and master theses, we regularly find exciting topics, projects and opportunities.

In principle, it is always possible to apply for several positions. It is important for us to understand the motivation for these positions.

We like to make things easy for our applicants. For an initial application, a letter of motivation with a resume including information about the notice period and salary requirements are sufficient. For the further application process, we always ask for certificates and qualifications. If you have all the documents to hand, you can attach them directly to the application.

We prefer to receive applications via our career portal. Here we can also ensure that the applicant has read and agrees to our data protection agreement.

First, we confirm receipt of the application. After your application documents have been reviewed by the specialist department, the next step is an initial video interview. If the interview is successful, we will organize a personal interview on site. Following the interview, you will receive feedback from us in a timely manner.

The first response to your application will be immediately in the form of an acknowledgement of receipt. As a rule, the first contact takes place within seven days to start the further application process.

Our applicants do not have to log in, so it is not possible to manage the documents. It is always possible to reply to our emails and to submit documents in a targeted manner or to withdraw applications.

A rejection is always related to one job posting and does not automatically apply to other positions within OSI.

At OSI, there is a structured induction plan with mentors and a first onboarding day. Most of the onboarding is done by the department through on-the-job training.

Everyday life depends very much on the position in question. Generally, OSI treats all colleagues with respect. We are on first-name terms and support colleagues across departmental boundaries. The communication with colleagues in all locations in our 8 European countries works, if not personally on site, often via video telephony. There is cross-departmental and cross-country project work.
